Fever also called as pyrexia, it is a symptoms for any kind of disease and the raise in body temperature is due to many infections mainly of viral infections.

Ayurvedic medicines are very helpful to control fever. Fever is explained in ayurvedic texts as “Jwara” and the management is explained in detail depending on the constituents of the patient. Ayurveda follows root level treatment rather than symptomatic relief.

Ayurvedic texts explained different types of fevers and its management along with diet and lifestyle modifications.

Ayurvedic science believes fever occurs due to irregularities in stomach and due to indigestion also, hence the origin of fever usually occurs due to any disturbance in gastric level.

There are many herbal medicines which are called as “Jwaraghna” medicines. The best herbal medicine is Giloy or guduchi.

Other medicines like tribhuvana kirthi ras, gorochanadi gulika, Amritharishtam, etc are very helpful ayurvedic medicines.

If cold and cough is present along with fever, then the management is different and one should undergo treatment and can take ayurvedic medicines for both fever and cold and cough.

One can take few ayurvedic medicines to control fever and even to prevent fever and to maintain immunity power.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.

Chyawanprash

Babies do get cold and fevers easily as babies are more prone to cold than an adult. You should keep your baby warm as repeated infections may cause tonsillitis or adenoids. We recommend you to give you baby divya chyawanprash to increase the immunity and strengthen your baby`s respiratory system. A regular course will be very beneficial for your baby's health.
