Ayurvedic medicines

Ayurvedic medicines are the medicines which are prepared from herbs and permitted minerals. Ayurvedic medicines are prepared according to formula and as per ancient texts. Most the ayurveda medicines do contain herbs, minerals, ghee, milk, honey.

Ayurvedic medicines are classified mainly in two categories, they are external and internal.

Other classification of ayurveda medicines are like gulikas, (tablets,), decoctions like asavam, arishtam, kashayam, semisolid ayurveda medicines are like lehyam, oils, ghee preparations, basmas, rasa preparations.

External ayurveda medicines are mainly herbal oils, herbal pastes, and sometimes creams.

Internal ayurveda medicines are as explained above.

Ayurvedic medicines are very helpful if prepared in proper way and formulated way. This has been approved as per government norms.

Hence these ayurveda medicines are very safer to use.

Ayurvedic medicines are used for certain time period, in some cases it is short term and in certain cases it is long term. These ayurveda medicines can be used as per the suggestion of qualified ayurveda physician. Proper diet is followed while consuming ayurvedic medicines. Ayurvedic medicines are very beneficial if used as prescribed. These ayurveda medicines should be used with certain adjuvant.
