Expert's Advice:- Hello madam, Usually, after delivery there will be slight put on in weight is common. That is probably due to inadequate exercise and irregular diet. Before that, you have to analyze for any other complaints like menstrual disturbance if any and please do specify. You can depend on alternative therapies for reducing weight. Consume lukewarm water regularly 8 to 10 glasses daily. Regular physical exercises is necessary to burn fats. Follow strict diet and no need to skip meals. There are certain home products like honey, which is good home remedy for obesity. Honey can be mixed with 10 lemon drops and consume along with Triphala churnam 1 tsp with lukewarm water in morning is very useful. Drink ginger tea or lemon tea a day. Consuming ginger, cinnamon, black pepper etc. in different forms are useful. Consume vegetables and fibre rich food products are also useful to reduce weight. Pranayama and Yogasanas like Surya Namaskara, Pavanamuktasana, Paschimothansana, Supta-Vajrasana , Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana etc are also helpful along with Anuloma-viloma pranayama under strict supervision.
