Glaucoma Symptoms 
Hello Dr - The pressure in my eyes is fluctuating up and down. I went to the Opthamologist on Wednesday and since I have been practicing pranayam the pressure is coming down. I ordered package for Glaucoma that included Drishta drops - I am taking the amla juice and amla powder daily. My question is it okay to use the drops if my eyes are red and bloodshot? I put the drops in each eye one time and it was very painful. I am 64 years old black female. My father had Glaucoma and was blind. I need help with this problem. Thank you very much. I am using two drops Timolol 2 timnes a day and Zalatan at night. Regards JoAnne

Hello madam, When you have redness or congestion, no need to use those drops in order to avoid complications. However, if you are facing pain while using those drops, you can discontinue those drops. Instead, you can use Opthacare with regards, Dr.Vijay posted by ayurvijay on 21 February 2010 20:10
