High Blood Pressure 

Hello sir,

A person has hypertension or high blood pressure if the high reading (systolic) is over 140 and the low reading (diastolic) is over 90 when tested. In your case it is 130/100 mm of Hg, which is higher, though there are no symptoms, it may be safe. Symptoms like dizziness, headache, fatigue, restlessness, difficulty in breathing, insomnia, intestinal complaints and emotional instability, one or more among these may appear.

There are many ways to control high blood pressure. The combination of alternative therapies such as ayurvedic treatment, diet, yoga and pranayama can be implemented.

Exercise regularly and maintain stable weight. Balanced diet is also very important. Evening meals should be light and taken at least two hours before going to bed. Take a tablespoonful each of Amla Juice with lemon and honey mixed together every morning. Choosing and preparing foods with less salt and sodium. Drink plenty of warm water regularly. Take 2 teaspoon of onion juice and 1 teaspoon of honey once a day for a month. Papaya can be taken alone or mixed diet. Apple is good for controlling hypertension.

Yoga and Pranayama: Anuloma-viloma pranayama Vajrasana , Shavasana, Sukhasana, Suryanamskara, Anulomvilom pranayama, Bhramari pranayama, Sarvangasanam, Nadi shodhan pranayama, Ujjayai pranayama.

Medications: Arujuna Divya Arunjarishta, Abana can be consumed for controlling high blood pressure.
