Dry skin occurs due to many reasons like inadequate nutrition, electrolyte imbalance, and inadequate oil formation in oil glands.

There are few home remedies to take care of skin.

1. Regular application of oils like almond, coconut oil over the skin is very helpful.

2. Ripe banana mash can be applied over the dry face and affected parts.

3. Grapeseed oil is also very helpful for application over the dry skin.

4. Application of Aloevera gel is also helpful after bathing for dry skin.

5. Cooked oatmeal and honey combination acts as moisturiser.

6. Application of raw milk and mustard in paste consistency is also helpful to prevent dryness.

7. Apple, cucumber packs are also helpful for applications.

8. Fullers earth and mint leaves combination over the face is also very helpful for dry skin.

9. Almond paste with raw milk application is also very beneficial for healthy skin.

10. Usage of banana, papaya, avocado (makhanpahl or roochiraa) are very helpful as face packs and can also applied over the affected skin parts.

11. Combination of egg yolk, milk powder, and honey in 1:2:1 ratio for application is very helpful.

One should be careful while using these applications, one can have a test application on small area and see for any reaction, if there is no itching or any rashes, then you can continue. This applies for any kind of applications over the skin.
