HOME REMEDIES FOR CONTROLLING JAUNDICE

Due to high level of pigment bilirubin in the body shows the symptoms of jaundice, this may be due to hemolytic anemia, acute hepatitis, alcoholic liver disorders etc.

Though proper medical care is taken to control the jaundice with the help of medicines, one can make use of home remedies to prevent reoccurrence. In ayurveda, we believe this is due to pitta formation in the body.

Home remedies like

• Green leaves of radish is used to balance bilirubin.

• Sugarcane juice is very helpful if taken with lemon drops in it.

• Lemon squeezed in warm water is very helpful.

• Butter milk is taken plenty and you can add black pepper powder 3 pinches.

• Drinking carrot juice is also helpful.

• Amla or gooseberry is also very for curing jaundice.

• Basil leaves can be made into paste and can be consumed along with radish juice.

• Barley water intake is also effective home remedy.

• Tomato juice is also very helpful if taken by adding pepper powder 3 pinches.

• Using dried dates, cardamoms, almonds, are helpful.

• Using lemon leaves for boiling water and can be used to control the jaundice.

However, one should take care while using these home remedies, try as per necessary, if you have diabetes, be careful in taking sugar based home remedies like sugarcane juice.
