Hello,

Nausea and vomiting during first or second trimester of pregnancy is also called as morning sickness, this is occurred due to hormonal imbalance, even it happens due to vitamin B deficiency, strong odors, or even gastrointestinal irritations.

There are certain diet modifications and proper timing is maintained. Do not consume heavy food.

There are certain contraindications in taking medicines during pregnancy.

Hence, you need to consult doctor personally and as per your body constituent you can follow some medicines if morning sickness is in excess. Exposing to fresh air reduces morning sickness.

Some home remedies like Ginger juice, lime juice, mint juice, and honey in equal quantity (1tsp) to be consumed 3 to 4 times daily. Consuming vitamin B and calcium is important. Curry leaves also found effective for morning sickness.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.
