My nephew is 7 years old. He is declared autistic by NIMHANS, Bangalore. Is there any cure for autism in Sri Ramdev Baba's Patanjali Yogpeeth? 
My nephew is 7 years old. Upto 2 yrs. of his age he was learning to talk normaly but after that he lost speech gradually. Looking at this abnormality, we took him to NIMHANS, Bangalore last year where he was declared autistic after several tests. We would like to know if there is any possible cure available at Patanjali Yogpeeth. If yes, then, we would like to personally bring him to Patanjali Yogpeeth for the treatment. Pl. guide us as how do we proceed in this regard?

Its origin and cause has not so far clearly studied and the treatment available for autism is based on to improve the quality of life of the patient. Hello gowinpandeji, I have a son too with autism. We live in US. There's no medical treatment yet. However behavior therapies help these kids to live in society. Teach him basic living skills to start with. Then gradually get him interested to join and participate in play. You can just play with him...like throw and catch ball, or simply read a story to him. He may look disinterested but eventually he'll join. It takes lots of patience and love to bring up such a child. Never scold him as this would make him lose his confidence. Always praise him in whatever commands he is able to follow. Make him participate in simple home activities like laying the dinner table or watering plants, or arranging clothes in the cupboard. You may have to hold him and help him. Don't let him go away without completing the work. You can say "First let's finish this, then we can do what you like". This is called setting limits to ones negative behaviour. I would suggest, you find an ABA therapist in your area who can come for a couple of hours to do some behavioral therapy with he child. Other than this give him good protein diet. It'll be better if you can avoid give him milk and wheat products. This kind of diet is called GFCF diet (Gluten free casein free diet). Such a diet increase eye contact and improves focus. Also ayurvedic medicines are proven to help in the long run (For example Baba ramdev's Divya Medha vati) or you can also contact Dr. Pankaj Naram who practices in Mumbai and is familiar with Autism.
