Natural cure for sebaceous cyst

Sebaceous Cysts are lumps under the skin, which are formed due to blockage of sebaceous glands in the skin which contains sebum. It is harmless unless it is infected. It occurs where there is no proper aeration such as genitals, armpits some times on scalp, face, or ears. It is also called as epidermal cyst or keratin cyst. Sebaceous cysts occur due to improper hygiene, using of harsh chemicals as deodorants also lead to sebaceous cyst. In few cases improper shaving may also lead to sebaceous cysts.

Though there is no treatment for sebaceous cysts except surgical intervention. If the cyst is infected, proper care should be taken.

In order to maintain proper perspirations one can do regular physical exercises, Yogasanas, and pranayama.

Maintain proper hygiene is very important.

Taking plenty of water helps to maintain hydration and excretion.

Do not squeeze, using nails, drain, or puncture the cyst as it may cause infection.

Though there are some herbs which can be applied as external applications such as garlic, aloevera, orange peel, mint juice are useful as home remedies to dissolve small cysts.

Giloy Vati and Kaishor Guggulu are good medicines for this complaint.
